Main Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival
- Respond to emails and phone calls, make, modify, or cancel reservations
- Prepare and manage guest arrivals and departures
- Follow established standards and procedures to ensure quality service
- Handle guest payments for their stay
- Provide information about the resort's activities and local attractions
- Handle minor guest complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
- Perform sales, payments, refunds, and deposits
- Ensure the sale of products in the small store
- Perform any other tasks related to the receptionist position.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience in customer service (1 to 6 months)
- Ability to be independent, versatile, and organized
- Initiative-taking skills and problem-solving ability
- Must enjoy working with the public and have excellent communication skills
- Availability and flexibility in tasks and schedules (day/evening, weekdays/weekends)
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential
- Written and verbal communication skills (French and English)
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to handle money.
Working conditions
- Offered Salary: $18.50 per hour
- Number of hours per week: between 16 hours and 24 hours
- Employment status: permanent, part-time, on-site
- Work schedule: 8 hours from Monday to Friday, with availability on weekends and holidays.
- Shift: day/evening.
- Expected start date: effective immediately
