For insurance and safety purposes, the number of individuals SLEEPING in the rental property must not exceed the maximum occupancy listed for the number of bedrooms in the chalet. Children over the age of 4 are counted. SEE FOR THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SLEEPERS FOR YOUR CHALET TYPE. Failure to comply with this term will nullify this Agreement.
A List of sleepers and visitors will be sent to you once we receive your acceptance of the conditions. That list must be completed and returned to Fiddler Lake Resort prior to your arrival. It is mandatory and your responsibility to provide the names of your guests and visitors to ensure their admittance to the site. If the list is not received prior to your arrival, our Security Department has the right to refuse access to any visitors and guests. Day Visitors are your invited guests who are not included on your invoice at time of reservation. Departure time for these visitors is 01:00 a.m. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a $500 minimum charge for all late visitor departures. These charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Please note that this is a non-smoking property. According to By-Law #0.01, a fine of up to $500 can be incurred. Our Inspection Team will assess the home after your departure. Any damages due to smoking indoors will be at the renter’s cost.
No natural wood is allowed for the fireplaces. Green logs are the only logs permitted. Ecological logs with starters can be purchased at the reception.
For reasons of security and protection of citizens, the municipal law of the City of Milles-Isles forbids the use of fireworks and/or firecrackers, as well as the lighting up an outdoor/camp fire without a license. Failure to comply with this regulation could result in a $500 fine.
Out of respect for all our guests and neighbours, we remind you that from 11:00 p.m., there should not be any noise that may disturb the peace and comfort of your neighbours (Articles 4 and 7 of Regulation RM 450-A concerning nuisances of the city of Mille-Isles). Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a fine between $100 and $500. You also risk being expelled from the site.
Pets are not allowed on the Fiddler Property. A fine of $500 will be applied to the Security Deposit if evidence of pets is found during your stay, and you will be charged for any other damages caused by your pet.
Our homes are privately owned, and the owners expect you, the renter, to maintain their property in a clean and presentable state throughout your stay.
Fiddler Lake Resort homes are constructed with wood flooring for your comfort and enjoyment. In order to maintain the integrity of these floors, renters are required to remove all footwear (shoes, boots, sandals, etc.) after entering the house. Homes are equipped with tiled areas at most entrances. Please remove your footwear and leave them in the tiled area. Any damages to flooring as a result of not removing footwear will be at the renter’s cost.
The house will be inspected after your departure and if the home is not left in a satisfactory state, this may result in charges to your Security Deposit.
In case of unforeseen events out of our control (including those caused by Mother Nature), Fiddler Lake Resort will make every effort to find an equivalent property at our resort. If that is not possible, assistance will be provided to locate a similar rental property in the area. Fiddler Lake Resort will not be held responsible or liable for any further obligations arising from this event.
Parents are solely and completely responsible for their children’s safety as there will be no lifeguard at the lake or at the pool house at any time.
The decision to rent accommodations and the use of all facilities/equipment/canoes, snowshoes (including the use of Internet, telephone, electrical appliances, hot tub, sauna, BBQ) are entirely at the renter’s risk.
Fiddler Lake Resort takes no responsibility for any issues experienced following use of the hot tub. Please note that excessive or inappropriate use of the hot tub may result in a charge of $150 for additional cleaning.
No responsibility will be accepted by Fiddler Lake Resort or the home owners for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal effects, or damage whatsoever to the personal property of the renter or his/her guests.
No refund will be issued in the event of an uncontrollable situation, for example power outage, Internet interruption, water supply issues, sewer failures, or phone interruption. Please note that our chalets do not have generators.
We are in the middle of the forest so small animals like mice are always looking for a wayto enter the cottage. Thereforee, we ask you to keep the exterior doors closed at all times.
I have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement applicable to Fiddler Lake Resort.
I HEREBY ACCEPT THAT ANY DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY EXCEEDING THE VALUE OF MY DEPOSIT SHALL BE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD UPON PRESENTATION OF VISUAL EVIDENCE/PICTURES OF THE DAMAGES.
We will never sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. Fiddler Lake Resort undertakes to protect the confidentiality and ensure the security of all personal information. This information is stored in a secured location and access is controlled by specific user authorizations. It will be kept only for the duration of your stay.
You have the right to refuse any promotional material offered by Fiddler Lake Resort concerning our products and services. However, if you so request, Fiddler Lake Resort can send you promotional material.
You may also request access to your personal information collected by Fiddler Lake Resort. This information is stored and used in Canada and, as such, is subject to Canadian laws.
